Airedale the Breed

The Airedale Terrier is a breed of dog that originated in the Aire Valley of Yorkshire, England. It was originally bred to hunt otters and rats in the region's rivers and canals. The breed was developed in the mid19th century by crossing the Otterhound with the Welsh Terrier. Airedales were later used as messenger dogs and search and rescue dogs during World War I. Today they are popular family pets and are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and courage
